Company Management

What makes a great company? The team!

Andrew Boer


A third-generation leader and grandson of founder Peter Boer, Andrew grew up in the moving and storage business, developing a hands-on understanding of our industry. This experience gives him a deeper and more personal perspective in his role as President, where he provides guidance and strategic direction to our company.

Carrying on the family tradition of leading with integrity, Andrew has steered the organization his grandfather founded through challenging economic times and rewarding growth. Understanding the value of great employees and loyal customer’s has always been at Andrew’s core.

In his personal life, Andrew serves on several Boards and Business groups. A native of Holland, MI, Andrew enjoys spending time with friends and family, taking on do-it-yourself projects around the home, and just about any activity that gets him outside.

Larry Paarlberg

Vice President of Sales

Larry has been in sales at Boer’s since 1992. With that much experience, he has seen just about any scenario possible in the moving industry. Whether it’s local or long distance, Larry can determine the best option for getting all of your possessions to your new home safely and efficiently. When selling a service, it is most important to have confidence and faith in that service. Boer’s has consistently delivered that excellent service over the years. I’m convinced you will NOT find a better moving and storage company anywhere in West Michigan.

Moving can be a very stressful time for many people. Larry enjoys eliminating a lot of this stress for people by assuring them they will be in good hands when Boer’s is in charge of packing & moving all of their possessions. If you pay attention to details and provide a 1st class service, the stress of moving can be almost but eliminated. Larry would enjoy very much coming to your house and showing you how we can make this happen.

Eric Petersen

Local Operations

As a good friend of Andrew and his family starting early in life, Eric was indoctrinated in the moving industry as a middle schooler. In need of cash for the important things in life such as walkmans, cassette tapes and movie rentals for the VCR, he and Andrew cut down used boxes & washed trucks for five dollars an hour.

Eric graduated to moving furniture “on the trucks” in his high school years during the summer and on Saturdays. He enjoyed working with, and getting to know the comical cast of seasoned moving professionals Boer’s employed. He found physical nature of the job and the varying homes and people to be very appealing. Eric also really enjoyed the challenge of safely moving items into, out of, and through tight and awkward spaces. Along with that he also enjoyed the 3-D spacial puzzle of loading furniture from the truck floor to the ceiling. Showcasing these skills often brought the customer’s praise which really ingrained the ultimate goal of pursuing perfect customer service in this unique industry.

Following school, Eric struggled with the decision of whether to serve his country in the Marine Corps or to stay in Holland and continue in the moving industry. He found a happy medium in the Marine Corps Reserves while continuing to work full time with Boer’s. The Corps provided him with valuable leadership skills that he was able to employ as he was brought into the office to train employees, and later to schedule and dispatch crews. Eric continues to utilize his “in the field” moving experience and communications skills to develop and lead Boer’s moving teams today as the local operation manager.

Eric’s personal side of life revolves around his wife and two kids and his passion for creativity and art. Whenever possible he is building something in his wood shop at home, or fabricating something in his metal shop at the newly renovated Boer’s facility.

Manuel Giron-Sanchez

Interstate Operations

Manuel’s career with Boer’s began in 2013.  He started as a Class B Driver, attained his Class A License, and became an over the road driver for many years before settling into his current position overseeing Interstate Operations.  As a former OTR driver, Manuel can relate extremely well with the drivers he now supervises and he values the continued relationships he has with them.

Manuel is married with two small children.  He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, and soccer.  Manuel also appreciates cars and enjoys auto body work.

Dan Dibble

Relocation Consultant

A young business professional with more than 10 years experience in the moving and storage industry, Dan represents primarily residents that reside North of Holland in Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Muskegon, and Grand Rapids area.

Dan is a professional relocation consultant at Boer’s Transfer and Storage. He attended Western Michigan University where he earned his Bachelors of Business Administration with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Economics in 2012. Upon graduating, Dan worked as a manager at Menards and since returning to Boer’s in February 2016, Dan has helped a number of families and individuals achieve successful stress-free moves across the country and locally!

Dan was born and raised in Holland, MI. In his free time, Dan enjoys spending time working out, golfing, kayaking, softball, and spending time in Northern Michigan. The reason Dan enjoys what he does here at Boer’s is because he gets to help people with one of the top five most stressful things a person can experience and make it an enjoyable process from beginning to end. He takes pride in being a resource for our customers through providing excellent customer service and being available around the clock.

Audrey Mills

Move Coordinator

Audrey has been in the customer service industry for the majority of her life.  She went to travel school, ran a Budget Car Rental for a short time, and found herself in the food service industry for about 10 years.  She then went to GFS for 23 years as an assistant manager before joining the team at Boer’s.

Audrey is married to the love of her life, Rich.  In the 31 years and counting they’ve been together they have raised 2 children- Matt and Haley who both are also in the service industry.

Audrey and Rich love to travel when time permits, going to the beach, cooking, and spending time together as well as spending time with their kids.

Amy VanLangevelde

Boer's White Glove Team

Amy is a part of the White Glove department where she and her sister manage new product/designer accounts.  She enjoys all aspects of the job as they coincide with her interests, such as art, music, creativity and growing relationships.

Her favorite part of the job is the people she works with and the variety of communication and hands on work.

In Amy’s time away from work you can find her enjoying time with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Brutus, friends and family, in the garden, or finding any excuse to be outside!

Beth Kuipers

Boer's White Glove Team

Beth grew up in a creative household right here in Holland. Her experience in furniture began early, as her father is a craftsman and fine woodworker. This background has offered Beth knowledge and insight when looking for quality during inspections.

Pursuing a lifestyle in the arts, Beth has devoted years as a calligrapher and engraver, selling pieces around the country and abroad. The understanding Beth has developed through this type of work has established a keen eye for detail, patience, and precision. These skills have come into action every day while inspecting and communicating with designers and clients.

When Beth is not at work, she spends her time with her husband, daughters, and dogs. Beth enjoys reading, watching old films and a bold bottle of red.
